On 11th July, 2022, HRF community member Iyad El-Baghdadi sent a private letter to the management of HRF on the Israel-Palestine conflict and its treatment at the Oslo Freedom Forum. This came after tensions at the 2022 Oslo Freedom Forum over the failure to adequately address the issue of Israel-Palestine or to platform Palestinians, a tension that had been growing year on year.
